About Us
St John the Baptist Nursery School is a self-governing Catholic school providing education to children in their pre-school year. It first opened in 1975 and offers of 52 free places each year. The school provides a safe and welcoming environment for children aged between 2 and 4 embarking upon their education
Aims
The overall aims of the school are:
- To provide a wide variety of indoor and outdoor play experiences which will challenge and stimulate each child’s interests and curiosity.
- To provide opportunities for listening, talking, discovering, problem solving and for creative and physical play. Through these experiences we hope each child will develop mathematical, scientific, linguistic, musical and creative skills.
- To help your child grow in self-confidence and independence and to enjoy satisfaction from work well done.
